Samuel Henry enlisted into the New Hampshire 5^th Regiment, Company G on September 15, 1861 in Claremont, NH. and mustered out on Sept. 3, 1862.  By 1880 he lived in Berlin with his wife.   He died on March 17, 1920 at age 87 and was buried in Wilcox Cemetery, East Berlin.
