Samuel A. Whittlesey, age 18, lived with his parents David Whittlesey,  age 44, a  farmer, Dolly,  age 43, and siblings:  Laura, age 18,  Anna, age 11, and Susanna, age 8.  He enlisted into the 22^nd Regiment, Company I as a Corporal.  He mustered out on July 7, 1863 in Hartford, CT.   He married Aldah Savage on October 11, 1866 at the Kensington Congregational Church.
