Norman W. Warren was born in 1840, the son of Manson and Almira woodruff Warren.  He enlisted from New Britain into the 13^th Regiment, Company A as a Corporal on September 16, 1861.  He received a disability discharge on May 24, 1863.  He married Frances Upson on April 27, 1870 at the Kensington Congregational Church.  They had children:  Bertha died young, Gustavus born 1873, Bertha born 1874, Norman born 1876.   He died on July 13, 1876 at age 36 and was buried in West Lane Cemetery in Kensington.
