Lewis Dunn, middle initial either F or P, was born in Ireland.  He enlisted into the 20^th Regiment, Company K on August 15, 1862 as a private.  He mustered out June 13, 1865 at Fort Lincoln, Washington, DC.  In 1880 Lewis and his wife Mary lived in New Britain where he worked as an iron moulder.  His wife collected his Civil War pension.  He died on September 17, 1921 at age 75 and was buried in St. Mary’s Cemetery in New Britain, CT
