Leverett H Gladding

Leverett (Everett) H. Gladding, age 14, in 1850 lived in Berlin with his parents James Gladdin, age 45, Martha, age 30, and siblings:  Charles, age 14, Adeline, age 12,  Levi, age 10, and Sarah, age 9.  He joined the Kensington Congregational Church in 1961.  He enlisted into the 9th Regiment, Company C on October 18, 1861.  He died on August 12, 1862 at age 22 years of swamp fever disease.  He was buried in West Lane Cemetery in Kensington.
