Hiram A Clark

Hiram A Clark was the son of Hiram A and Jenette Treat.  He enlisted from Cromwell into the 16th Regiment, Company K as a private.  He was captured on April 20, 1864.  He was mentioned in Charlie’s Civil War by Charles Brandegee Livingstone, page 122, 123.  He was a prisoner of war in Andersonville where he died on August 19, 1964 at age 25.  There is a gravestone in Maple Cemetery, Berlin, CT.  he was buried at the National Cemetery in Andersonville.
