George Lincoln, age 24, in 1860 lived in New Britain, worked as a brick maker.  He married Matilda.  He enlisted into the 7^th Regiment, Company I on March 1, 1862.  He reenlisted on March 5, 1864.  He mustered out on July 20, 1865 in Goldsboro, NC.  After the war, he moved to Berlin.  He died on August 24, 1884 and is buried in Fairview cemetery in new Britain, CT.
