Eugene W Kenyon enlisted from Middletown into the 14^th      Regiment, Company B on July 8, 1862.  He was wounded at Fredericksburg and died on December 31, 1862 at age 20 in Washington DC.  He was born in New York and moved to Middletown where he worked as a  mechanic.  He was buried in Miner Cemetery in Middletown.
